The Spring Summer Fashion trends don’t have to be overwhelming as it is all about wearing what you feel comfortable with and how you style it, incorporating only the pieces that, even though are trends, these will work with what you already have in your wardrobe.
I’m obsessed with so many of the spring summer trends and I think these will be huge this year! Of course, not all trends are wearable, but I think these will elevate your wardrobe, make you feel confident, and chic.
To mention a few of my top picks I know I will try myself some of these trends, so let’s go through a few of them.

DENIM TREND
So far, this is the most popular spring summer fashion trend of the year, as we can see everything on denim from vests, blazers, trench coats, midi skirts, mini skirts, belts, bags, and jeans, I am so ready for this trend as it is one of my favorites.
MAXI SKIRTS TREND
I love this trend because a maxi skirt goes perfectly with regular sweaters and knits in spring. And looks great with just a T-shirt in the summer. A long denim maxi skirt is at the moment, one of the most popular trends. You can use a maxi denim skirt with chunky boots or sneakers, which is my favorite way to style them as it removes the girly or too formal vibe. I also like to combine them with different textures to make the outfit more interesting.
UTILITY TREND
Of all the spring summer fashion trends for 2023, this is the one I am most excited about, especially for those cargo trousers and cargo jeans we are seeing on the streetstyle. They look so effortless and have this cool vibe that you can dress up or down to your style. But this utility trend is not only on cargo pants, as there will be big pockets everywhere! On tops, jackets, and bottoms. I am a big fan of this trend and I’m all ready for it!
OVERSIZED BAGS – TOTE BAGS
We are opting for larger bags as we tend carry more, and larger bags are more practical than the mini or miniature bags. which you could not even fit your phone good example, is Saint Laurent with the quilted tote bag, and the big Jodie bag in the large size.
But you don’t need to break the bank to get one of these expensive bags for example, I’m planning to use my tote bags, one of them being my Marc Jacobs which is similar in size to the ones mentioned above.
SKINNY JEANS
Skinny Jeans are back in fashion, but not as skinny as they were before, this time with a looser fit, which in my opinion, sounds more comfortable anyway. Towards Fall 2023, I think skinny jeans will be styled more with High-knee or tall boots, pumps, Mary Janes, and flats, with big-shoulder blazers, which are more elegant and sophisticated looks, rather than a sporty style or with sneakers. Skinny Jeans have always been a staple in my wardrobe, and I am happy they are back.
METALLICS & SEQUIN
Also called the Mermaid Core, which is wearing metallics and sequins. These trends can be worn at any time, day or night, and in any color. My favorites are gold and silver; you can see in the pic below I already got into this trend with this beautiful skirt from & Other Stories I got back in December. I can’t wait to try some metallic trousers. I love them with white T-shirts for the spring and early summer.
If you think wearing sequins is a bit much, you can try using accessories like bags or shoes, and this way, you will get the look without getting out of your comfort zone.
MARY JANE SHOES
I love this trend so much that I bought a beautiful pair of Mary Jane Pumps, and I am happy they are part of the spring summer fashion trends for 2023. Perhaps for some of you, these are not an option, but they are so versatile, and you can wear them with everything and always look good.
MARY JANES BALLET FLATS – HYBRID
The hybrid is a mix of Mary Janes and ballet flats. We saw the Mary Janes, Loafers, and ballet flats take over all the catwalks. I am not a fan of the bows and minimal structure of Ballet flats, so I prefer a mix of the two, I love the low heel and the minimal strap across the foot of the hybrid. This shoes are my favorites for the Spring Summer Fashion Trends for 2023.
STATEMENT EARRINGS
Right now statement earrings are on fashion, the most popular ones are the Bottega Veneta drop earrings but with a very high price tag. I love these earrings and searching the internet or other options, I found the best dupes ever, I already have them, and they are of good quality and worth trying, so I linked them below.
SILVER JEWELRY TREND
I am and always will be a gold girl, but I also noticed that as we get closer to the mid-Spring and summer seasons, we get to see more and more silver, not only on jewelry but also on shoes, boots, trousers, and more. I already have a big pair of silver hoop earrings and a necklace, so I am ready to wear silver as one of the spring summer fashion trend for 2023. See below some options.
