Today I want to share with you what I think are the best fragrances for Fall and Winter.
I rarely buy a new or different fragrance because I very much believe that every woman should have a signature fragrance. Fragrances are a way to express yourself; they are connected to special memories. It is like an extension of style and personality.
My signature fragrance is the only perfume I will buy over and over again and I have been doing so for the past 20 years. It is Dior Addict by Christian Dior. Even though it is a strong scent, I use it throughout the whole year and I don’t worry about the season or time of the year we are in.
DIOR ADDICT BY CHRISTIAN DIOR
Dior Addict was launched in 2002, happened that I was at the store the same day. I stayed and learned about the perfume, bought a small bottle, and never stopped using it. I fell in love with its richness, sexiness, and mysterious scent.
It is the perfect scent for Fall and Winter because of the richness of the Keynotes. It stays forever on my hair, clothes, my body, and everything I touch.
Keynotes are: Blackberry, Mandarin leaf & Silk Tree Blossom
Middle Notes: Jazmine, Night Blooming, Cereus, Orange Blossom, and Rose
Base Notes: Vanille, Tonka Bean, and Misore.
Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
I have been using this perfume for a few years now, and I have to say that it is still one of my favorite and most used fragrances. Seductive, warm, spicy, and long-lasting, the freshness of the white flower notes creates the perfect scent for the modern and edgy woman.
Keynotes are Coffee, Vanilla, and White Flower.
Thé Noir 29 – LE Labo Fragrances
I recently heard about this brand, and after reading about the keynotes on most of their scents, I bought a small discovery set from the Net-a-Porter website and fell in love with all the fragrances. My favorites are; The noir 29, Santal 33, Another 13, Bergamot 22, and Rose 31. At the end of September, I bought my first bottle of The Noir 29, and right now is one of my most used fragrances for this Fall, I love it!!
Keynotes are: Bergamot fig, bay leaves, cedarwood, vetiver, and musk.

Baccarat Rouge 540 – Extrait de Parfum
It’s a unisex perfume with a floral fragrance that is at the same time very warm and sexy. Even though it is an expensive luxury fragrance, it is worth every penny because of its intensity and duration. Baccarat Rouge 540 is a heavy scent with intense Saffron, woody, and amber notes. Without a doubt an Autumn and Winter Fragrance.
Keynotes are: Saffron & bitter almond, Egyptian Jazmine, cedar, ambergris, musk
NOIR DE NOIR by TOM FORD
Define as dark and sexy. I love strong fragrances with old woody scents. The best perfume for me is the one I can smell the entire day as the day goes on and at the end of the day with the same intensity, so that’s why this is one of my favorites.
Keynotes are: Black Rose, Black Truffle, and Patchouli.
LIBRE by YVE SAINT LAURENT
It is so funny every time I say the name of this perfume because the name LIBRE is the same as Spanish Libre, so my pronunciation is in my most perfect Spanish when it is supposed to be in French. Lol.
Libre means FREE, and I love the meaning! A celebration of freedom is the message of this fragrance, and that’s precisely the feeling I get every time I spray it on me. The freshness of the orange and lavender gives me that freedom feeling.
Keynotes are lavender, Orange blossom, Orchid accord, and warm Vanilla.
JO MALONE LONDON
For quite some time, I’ve searched for a good Jo Malone fragrance, but I could not find the right one. I always tried the transparent bottles without realizing that the strong scents I love were in the black bottles.
Once I learned that all Jo Malone perfumes on the black bottles are Intense cologne, I immediately found a set for myself!
My favorites are Oud & Bergamot and Cypress & Grapevine. As Jo Malone fragrances are supposed to be combined, I like to layer them all over my body to get my bold intensity effect that will last all day.
Oud & Bergamot
A mysterious smoky character that belongs to the warm and spicy family, with a cool and spicy scent. This perfume has so much to offer with the keynotes and I think is one of the best fragrances for fall.
Keynotes are: Bergamot, Cedarwood, and Oud.
